G'day Everyone,
Gee
this year is going fast, it'll be Christmas before we know it.
Well I'm still loving my freedom, got home from Barcaldine on the 24th of
August, really enjoyed that trip. It was a great experience.
Had a spell for a couple of weeks, then it was back into again. My next show
was at Dalby to sing a few songs for the local Radio 4DDD Fundraiser. Big
thanks to Bluey Shelton for asking me to come along.
Then it was off to Bedgerabong Country Music Campout. It was a great weekend
and I caught up with a few good mates on the way, had a great time. Big
thanks to Veva and the Team for having me and looking after me so well. I
had a week to fill after that, so me and the old ute did abit of camping on
the road. It was great to take my time to get to the next venue. My next
Festival was at Ballina. It was Ballina's Coast to Country Festival's first
year and from what I here it was a great success. I had three spots on the
Sunday. Thank you to Marie and the team for having me. On a sadder note, I
would like to send my deepest sympathies to the Dallas Family for the loss
of Jeff. May he rest in peace. I also lost my gran on September the 9th. She
was a big country music fan and used to love coming along to the shows at
Pittsworth and the surrounding areas. I was so proud to have her in the
audience as well as all my family that came along to the Star Quest that I
won in 2009. rest In Peace Gran, Love you heaps.
I think that's all for now, my next adventure will be at Munna Creek.
Catch you all soon.
